Autopot Systems & Crops
There is hardly any plant that would not grow in an Autopot unit and this picture gallery demonstrates just that. All our plants are fed with only one nutrient mix without the need of having "The Grow" and "The Bloom" formulations as commonly applied by other hydroponic systems.

Left - Red Radish in a 6-inch pot. Right - A good harvest from a unit of 4 x 6-inch Autopot Window Box. On the hind sight, we could quite easily put in twice as many plants per pot to double up the yield. |

First attempt in growing peanuts in the Autopot Systems. The results have been very encouraging considering the fact that peanut is a tropical crop not really suited for the temperate Melbourne weather. We will be planting out 10 pots the following season in October 2008. |

| - Note the amount of vegetables that can be produced from a limited space. A timber structure with two upright poles (100mm x 100mm x 2M) and three cross beams (200mm x 40mm x 3M), we can install 9 window boxes (9 x 4 six inch pots) giving us 36 pots in 6 inch diameter. For two sides, you can double the growing capacity. |

Continuous Wheatgrass Production
  |
Wheatgrass grown in 5 Autopot window boxes - a total of 20 pots (6 inch) fed by gravity from a 30 L tank (note far end of pic. above). Watering and feeding - fully automatic. All you need to do is to sow Wheat seeds every two to four days into 4 units of the 6 inch pots and top up the tank with nutrients once a month. |
|
Suitable for sprouting other kinds of seeds eg. barley, corn, mung beans, soyabean, coriander etc. |

Friday, 5 October 2007 Autopot Window box is ideal for producing miniature snowpea shoots which are tender and delicious when eaten raw. You can continue picking the shoots for another two months before repotting. |
Snowpea - in Autopot Window Box. Snowpea seeds were sown directly into the 6-inch pots (50 seeds to a pot) and its shoots were ready for picking in just 6 weeks. |
