A lovely crop of Butterhead Lettuce - In an Autopot window box. - The Autopot window boxes were mounted along a fence in the open. This crop was sown directly into jiffy pellets before being transplanted into 6 inch pots. In just 4 weeks from transplanting, as shown in the picture, we have a delicious celan crop of lettuce. - The window boxes are mounted 1 meter above the ground. Hence, the crop is free from slugs, snails, rabbits or possums. |

He has now completely switched over to Autopot Systems due to its simplicity. He has given up NFT and Drip recirculating systems as there were too much attention required to get it working properly. - Note the nutrient reservoir tanks in the background. Potato growing - in 12inch single Hydrotray - Here is a very effective way of growing potatoes. The sputs are first sown into a 12 inch pot that sits in the 12-inch single Hydrotray. A cut out inverted 12 inch pot is then place over the lower pot as the potato plant have grown to a foot high. The pots are secured together with cable ties.

Mircro Herbs - Coriander in 4 inch pots - The same can be expected from coriander grown in 4 inch pots in Autopot Window boxes. - Here we do direct sowing of the 50 coriander seeds per pot and within 4 weeks there are ready for picking which will continue for several more months. - Herbs grown in Autopot Systems have been known to very rich in flavour.
